This past Saturday, we went on a mouthwatering journey through Parkhurst’s vibrant 4th Avenue, bringing together adventurous foodies and singles for a night of great cuisine, good company, and endless laughter. Our “Around The World” Walking Food Tour was a hit, and if you missed out, don’t worry—we’ll be back for more!

We began our evening at The Birmingham – The 40 Thieves, a 1920s London-inspired bar, where our guests were welcomed with a cocktail in hand and an ambiance that instantly set the tone for a night of fun and connection.

As expected, there were a few nervous smiles at first, but it didn’t take long before conversations started flowing. And just as the ice was beginning to break, the rain decided to join in the fun—literally! One of our lovely guests received a surprise blessing from the gazebo as water unexpectedly poured down on her. But thanks to the kindness of another guest who lent her a dry top, she was quickly back in action—an unplanned yet heartwarming start to the evening. After introductions and cocktails, we made our way to Kolonaki Greek Kouzina, a modern Greek eatery known for its vibrant Mediterranean flavors. Here, we indulged in delicious meze starters, sipping on wine and beer while getting to know each other. Laughter and conversation filled the air, making it clear that connections were already forming over the shared love of food.

Next, we walked further up 4th Avenue to discover Modena Italian Eatery,  a hidden gem in Parkhurst, serving up authentic Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist. From handmade pasta and wood-fired pizza to exquisite seafood and pork dishes, every bite was a delight. Paired with more wine, lively conversation, and lots of laughter, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and perfect for making new friends. With full hearts and satisfied appetites, we strolled to Oba Café, a charming Turkish dessert café where we were spoiled for choice. From silky gelato scoops and flaky baklava to rich chocolate brownies and authentic Turkish delights, there was something for every sweet tooth. The toughest challenge of the night? Deciding what to order!

To round off the evening, we made our final stop at the American, Hudsons, where the energy was high, the cocktails were flowing, and the connections were undeniable. Espresso martinis, cocktails, and nightcaps sealed the deal as numbers were exchanged and new friendships (or perhaps something more?) were formed.

We couldn’t have asked for a better evening, and we extend a huge thank you to all the amazing restaurants who made this event seamless—serving up exceptional food, perfect drinks, and warm hospitality.
